its rummage time
it is called the Highway 21 Treasure Hunt 100-mile rummage ! and well we attempted it. ha we hit up 3 or the 6 or so towns that were taking part. Even though we didn't hit them all we had a blast. met some good friends out there, ate at sweet diners and found some sick treasures. Lamps for $1. vintage sewing machines that work for $5... o and so much more. what a grand day!

just a tish of sugar
Tuesdays are the best day ever!!!! Some great friends and family gathered together this past Tuesday and enjoyed some yummy dessert. It may become a tradition this summer. Dessert Tuesdays... who could ever complain. enjoy the pics.
( yes we liked it a lot... but its so yummy and rich we could only have small slices... more for the next day ;) )

smells like pie.
so it may be noticed now that the post are not just photos of shoots i do. its my life... which is what the blog is going to turn into. the website will be up soon to focus on just the photo shoots i do! so what we have here is the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie i mentioned a post ago. I must say i was a little nervous to make a pie being it was the first pie i have ever made. I was all worried about burning the pie or having it be not sweet enough. Let me tell you something... not to brag but DANG... i did good! ha i was so proud of myself once i took the first bite out of this scrumptious beauty! Even my mom was impressed with the final product. I have two pretty fabulous women (my grandmas) who both make wonderful wonderful pies...so i know i have a lot to lean, but she claimed that the crust was wonderful and the strawberry and rhubarb combination was excellent. now lets hope shes not just being nice ;) love my mom.
I must say... make this pie!

much needed
after a stressful week of sandbagging and worry for my house i took the day for myself. I haven't seen the sun in what feels like years so i soaked it all up ( and burned ) ,online shopped and read some yummy recipes to try on the family! starting with a strawberry rhubarb pie. YUM! Ill let you know how that one goes!
